“Battery is dead. Needs to be towed by 8/9. Fiberglass shell is in good shape. Interior is in fair shape but interior appliances work except is missing refrigerator which could be replaced with mini-refrigerator. This RV is best used for housing or parted out. Purchased for $3,800. Coach work completed by RV repair facility cost $2,340, for a total of $6,000+ into it. They inspected and fixed or replaced interior components. Refrigerator removed because plan was to replace with a $150 mini-refrigerator at lower cost. It was then towed to truck repair facility to diagnose anything remaining. Here's their diagnosis:NO START. DEAD ATTERY. RECHARGED BATTERY. CRANKED ENGINE. CHECKED FOR SPARK. OK. CHECKED FOR FUEL TO THROTTLE BODY. NONE. THE ENGINE WILL FIRE WHEN PRIMING THE THROTTLE BODY. ON CRANKING THE FUEL PUMP IS RUNNING. GAS IS LEAKING FROM THE FUEL FEED LINE WHICH IS ROTTED. ALL OF THE STEEL LINES ARE NEEDED. SMOKE COMING FROM ONE OF THE FRONT WHEELS. BRAKE ISSUE” |
