Vehicle description
Must sell, low starting bid, no reserve Trailer has been sitting for a couple years, and I"m just paying storage fees, and need to cut my expenses. I just don"t have the time to take care of the tires, and have paid more in storage fees than it is worth. . Trailer in good condition. I believe it was designed for motorcycles or ATVs, but I"ve used it to transport a classic muscle car as well. It"s located in Long Beach, off Hwy 91, and is about 45 min from me so it"s not easy for me to get to. I"m not positive about the length, but I think it"s 16 feet. I"ve fit a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse show car in it, as well as a 1970 Mustang Mach 1. It"s got a few dents and scratches on the outside, as you can see. Has built-in toolbox and cabinets. Lots" of storage room. Has tie-down hooks. Mainly have used it to transport cargo during moves. On the last move, the axle on back overheated and I had it replaced and lubed (2013). It"s not been used more than 1000-1500 miles since then. However, it has sat in a storage lot for two years, and the tires probably need replacing. The air was low, and I put air in them a few weeks ago, but I can"t honestly say there aren"t big leaks, as I haven"t seen it since. I would assume they need replacing and would come prepared to change them. It has a weight distribution hitch, with the trailer ball set. If you haven"t used a WDH, it makes a ton of difference in stability during driving! There is a minor flaw in one of the stabilizer connectors "locks," which has been like that since I purchased it, and does not affect its use in any way. Non-refundable deposit due within 48 hrs. I travel a lot out of town for work, and can"t afford to drive to the storage lot for a non-payer. It has brakes that you need a brake controller in your vehicle to use. I"ve used it without the brake controller, only when empty. It is being sold AS IS, and you MUST take everything in it, which are basically a few old rims with damaged tires. (I have a couple of wheel blocks and a jack, that are not included though, as I need them for my cars. I"ve described this as best I can, and to the best of my knowledge there are no other issues, but this is an older trailer and there may be issues that I am not aware of. It is registered in California, and I have a clean title in hand. This is listed for sale locally as well, and if it sells, obviously I will end the auction early. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Must be picked up within one week, unless otherwise arranged with me. I do not want to be caught with another month"s storage fees. .
