1994 Sundowner Mirage Horse Trailer, 2 horse, straightload, bumper pull. Trailer has an aluminum frame and floor with a Fiberglass & Kevlar (strong, tough-to-break, and thermally stable) composite shell. The interior of the trailer looks like a stucco type of fiberglass finish painted white with a small amount of tiny black specs. There is a small tack area at the front of the trailer that contains a mounting post for a spare tire (tire is included), another mounting post to carry two saddles, a few bridle hooks and a brush tray. There are two triangular-shaped feed bags, and a thick-strapped, hay-bale harness to hold a small hay-bale at the front of the trailer (on top of the tack area). The aluminum divider is easily removable to create an open box stall. Chest pads, butt pads, sides of trailer, and divider are padded with a black vinyl type of fabric (the two chest pads are new). Sides of trailer walls are lined with a thin-ribbed, rubber lining. Mats are older, but functional. Windows are fully functional. This is an older trailer, some rivets are loose or missing. Recent work (done October 8, 2018) includes the following: new break-away with trickle charger kit installed, new safety chains installed, one clearance light, one interior light, and two door hinges replaced, breaks checked, bearings cleaned and repacked, gas shock for upper rear door on right side replaced. The ramp is functional, but is on the heavy side. Tires and rims are new. The trailer hitch is a bull-nose type and fully functional. The trailer tows well and true. Trailer"s empty weight= 2840 lbs. GVWR= 10400 lbs This trailer would make a nice ATV hauler. NOTE: 50 feet of new trim lock door seals, an extra shock for the upper, rear doors, and new threshold webbing for the ramp are included in this sale ($176.00 value).
