Vehicle description
Only reason for selling is that I bought a tandem axle truck with air ride.
1994 Ford L9000, single axle (looks like it had been a tandem axle tractor that had 5th wheel & front axle removed and dump box installed). L10 Cummins, 8-speed transmission with low. Pintle hitch (I mostly pulled a trailer with it). Air ride driver seat.
Owned truck since 2013. Maintained it like I was keeping it long term. Lots of work done while I"ve owned it, with paperwork to prove most of it (listed below), and I"m sure I"m forgetting some stuff. Bought truck with odometer reading 268,000. Now shows 301,xxx.
2017: clutch, surfaced flywheel, rebuilt starter, fan clutch, thermostat, coolant temp fan switch, belt, king pins, air dryer, U-joint & yoke at differential,
2016: front springs (had wrong springs on it), new steer tires & alignment,
2015: drive tires (4), recaps
2014: injectors, exhaust system,
2013: rebuilt injection pump,
Truck is ready to work, and I"m still using it until next week when my "new" one will be ready.
Truck is far from perfect, but I use it just like it is: air conditioning doesn"t work (no belt on compressor when I bought truck, and I never did anything with it); driver door missing weather stripping (I think it"s in the cab and will be included with truck); radio doesn"t work very well, so I didn"t use it; truck has some body rust, but it"s old and that"s to be expected- it"s not falling apart or anything; dump box flip-down sides are rusty and could use rebuilt if you plan to haul a lot of material; hood has some cracks, like most fiberglass hoods do
Clear title in hand.
Please email with specific questions and/or photo requests. Thanks. On Aug-30-18 at 07:01:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I am planning to change the oil & filter soon, and will probably send in an oil sample for analysis. When I have the results, I will be able to send them via email to anyone who requests them, along with any of the other service paperwork I have. Thanks.
