This is a great truck . I have owned it for around 6 years, It works almost daily in the Dallas area. It can be driven anywhere - it does not need any major maintenance. The Engine is a CAT 1176 and is about 3 years old, when i replaced motor i also installed a new cam and sent head to machine shop for complete re-work. Tires are all virgin and are of misc tread depths. Steer tires are pretty new. I have in the past year or so replaced the front diff, rebuilt the transmission a few months ago, replaced bed floor last summer. I also replaced and updated the steer and drive axle hubs to the newer style (the truck originally had the 2-piece Dayton wheels on it - hated them). I own 5 trucks and this one is my favorite to drive, it is easy to see out of and is a beast. I also had the rear suspension completely rebuilt last summer all new bushings and everything - ran about 3k. Feel free to call me anytime up to 10pm central time to ask questions. I am selling the truck because I am having trouble finding drivers (shortage in our area) and the insurance is too high if i do not use trucks everyday. If you have a cdl feel free to come by and drive it or even roll with us while we are working. Like all old trucks (even new ones) it has its little things to remember, but mechanically i don"t think you will find a better one for the money and it is extremely fuel efficient.
