Vehicle description
I purchase this camper three years ago when we had three kids and it was perfect. For the last 2 summers we have had 4 kids, which was tight. Now we have 5 kids and we needed a larger trailer. I purchased a larger trailer and I now need to get rid of my this trailer quickly. Hence the 3 day auction.
You may have noticed this trailer was on here last week. The person who won the auction never responded or paid. The winner had a new account with zero feedback. This time around I will be cancelling bids from people with a feedback score of less than 10. (If you don"t have 10 feedback but are truly interested, please feel free to contact me).
About the trailer: As you can see from the pictures it is painted Penn State colors but you don"t have to be a Penn State person to enjoy it. It fits a family well. The air works amazingly and it can get cold in there even on the hottest of days. There are two bunks in the back and a customized Ikea Kura Bed in there as well. The master bedroom has a door that closes leaving a peaceful room separated from the kids. We added blackout curtains on all the windows so that our kids wouldn"t wake at the crack of dawn. When I purchased it I tossed out the typical dinette and couch and put down a new floor and added the ikea bed and storage area. I also did waterproofing on the top of the camper so that I wouldn"t have to worry about leaks. I also installed an electric hot water heater and bypassed the one that was in there because it was old. I am selling this completely as-is. Its an older trailer and ideally the buyer will be someone handy who can fix things.
Some issues that I am aware of: (some of these could be fixed easily but they didn"t really bother us, so we didn"t)
The kitchen drawers stick and come off track. They may have to be jiggled and yanked. There is a missing vent cover in the main bedroom. The front door lock doesn"t work. The tub was repaired at some point. It seems to hold water without leaking but we never actually had to use it as we had a nice shower house a few feet from our camper. There was a storage door installed on the one side to cover up a ding that happened while parking it. It looks like at some point a branch might have hit it in the back a little (I tried to capture this in one of the pictures).
Buyer is responsible for picking it up at my campsite in Conestoga, PA. If you need a quote on having it delivered, please let me know.
Below are some questions that were asked last week when I posted this. 1 . can you tell me how the tires are? I haven"t moved it in two years. The shipping company guy that looked at it on Monday thought it would be okay to haul somewhere and leave it but if you are going to be taking this on the road more regularly then you will probably want new tires. I also can"t vouch for things like brake lights or turn signals but I do know that you(or your shipping company) should be able to throw temporary lights on it if they are a problem. 2 . can you confirm you have a title for this camper? Absolutely, I have the title and it is complete clean. 3 . D o you know the weight? Not exactly, the weight on the title is about 4300. That was stock though and I ripped out the dinette and couch but put in an Ikea bed and different flooring. I imagine the result is that the camper still weighs about 4300 though.
