Drives great with strong, dependable V6 engine and automatic transmission. Slightly rough idle and check engine light on (see below). Roof doesn't leak. Vehicle description

With sadness, we are selling our fully functional, "living the dream" 1993 Toyota Winnebago Warrior in reasonable to good condition for its age, but with potential for restoration to its original condition by a motivated buyer. This rare 21.5 foot RV has 97,500 well-maintained miles, with many more to go, and will only increase in value. Able to park anywhere, our wonderful little camper was perfect for vendor shows, and we"re only selling because our business is now taking a different direction involving less travel.
New tires and roof coating only a few months ago. Propane/electric fridge, water pump, roof AC cover, and water heater controller were replaced recently, and all work great. Lifetime guaranteed AirLift 5000 lb air springs permit elevation of rear end over a wide range regardless of load, and also results in a smoother ride. Professionally installed trailer hitch was welded to the frame, which we used to attach a 2" x 5" rear cargo platform for our vendor supplies. The previous owners had a roof reinforcement professionally installed to prevent sagging at a cost of $1300, so it"s even stronger than original. The roof doesn"t leak and we maintained it with fresh rubber sealant every year or two. However, the roof is original, so ideally it would be replaced as part of a complete restoration. The cab and chassis are very solid with no damage or obvious rust.
Issues include a not-so-great cassette tape stereo, no awning, and minor damage at the four spots where the original was attached, and some damage to a section of the vinyl/foam above the cab, as can be seen in the photos. Mechanically, the 3.0L V6 was always maintained with scheduled tune-ups, Mobil 1 synthetic oil, chassis lubrication, and a new timing belt, spark plugs, wiring and rotor cap. It runs and drives great, however, recently it idles with a slight roughness, and the "check engine" light came on. Error codes were related to the oxygen sensor, but replacing it didn"t solve the problem, so we"re leaving that to the next owner to figure out because of our limited remaining time in Florida. Interestingly, someone with a 1992 version wrote me about an identical problem, which he solved with a new computer he found on ebay for $200. Speculation aside, this seemingly minor, stable problem is insignificant while driving, and the engine runs strong with normal gas mileage. Will cruise fully loaded at 75 mph no problem with a great cruise control system and comfortable cab seats with original, very nice Winnebago covers.
Interior is an attractive mauve/teal and in great condition for its age, with only minor wear showing on some regions of the sofa and the original floor carpet probably should be replaced, although a professional cleaning may do wonders. Shower and toilet work great, but the shower base needs new screws and should be re-caulked. Overhead bunk, with included foam topper is comfortable for two adults, as is the convertible sofa, and the dinette converts to a smaller bed for children.
This RV is available for anyone to see in residential Port Charlotte, FL anytime this week. Feel free to contact me with questions or to see additional photos. Please only bid if you"re prepared to take possession no later than mid-April, as we must return to PA by then. A new paint job and some TLC will make this an amazing restoration, but even as is, we often get comments like, "That"s the coolest camper ever!"
