Vehicle description
This is a 1993 Vectra Winnebago with a diesel engine automatic six speed trans with 82,000 original miles. It has been sitting for a year and a half without being ran on the road. It was started occasionally and ran down the road for a fuel and propane only. Sitting around did this motorhome no good it needs to be driven and used what it was made for. I will now list of things that need attention to whether be a quick fix or a repair. The speedometer works but is registering at different speeds odometer is functioning. Gas gauge is not working correctly. Air brakes are working holding tank has Very slight leak while sitting has always had this issue and never close the problem for us. Headliner throughout the motorhome has sags typical of GM products from that year just to open areas one in bathroom and bedroom shown in picture. Squirrel cage for heating and air-conditioning unit has a problem with running very slow and not producing right airflow so we used portable air conditioner and heater’s that worked very well to subsidize original equipment. I’m sure this can be fixed if unit is pulled out and blower motors addressed with oil or grease I assume. Some drawer tracks have issues but they do slide in and out. Exterior driver side fiberglass has some cracking and I used white duck tape to stop any moisture from entering the cracks as seen in pictures. There also is some bubbling areas also shown in pictures. Onboard generator is working and running gave me problems at first but is now producing on board electric. As I said sitting did this motorhome the good all these problems occurred from sitting and not being used I believe once these issues are addressed and motorhome is being used as intended it will be a great and fun motorhome for years to come especially with the low mileage. It has two new tires on the front with less than 1000 miles rear tires Have half life left on them. Rear brakes were done a few years ago with only a few thousand miles on them. Has two on board batteries Just a couple years old to run on board DC power equipment and a new start up battery to crank over engine. I have set the starting price at half of what the motorhome is worth due to all the issues I have listed you can still run it the way it is or put money into it and bring it back to very good shape. I suggest to have it serviced by a qualified shop to have everything looked at as we did before we took it out for any future trips. If you have any further questions please feel free to message me and I will respond as quick as possible thanks for looking. This motor home is being sold as is condition.
