Vehicle description
Had a lot of good memories with this coach I had plans to fix up everything on it eventually however it looks like I wont get to it as Ill not be able to park it much longer and other things keep coming up. . last used November 2018, and when I did the brakes went out on it. Mechanically it had some good features running such as the Cummins 8.3 250 horse diesel as well as the pushbutton Allison MD3060 6 speed electronic shift transmission. Cylinder head and exhaust were redone, and presently needs some brake system repair. Still desirable and roadworthy with someone who can take the time to fix it up right, or who wants the drivetrain or other components off it as its very much a solid rig otherwise, but to me that would be a waste. .
Mostly original interior with some minor updates, and prior owner installed a custom bed up front to replace the original sofa which, in my opinion, was not ideal but does the trick. It has a number of minor things I was slowly getting around to replacing such as fuel door, steps into coach not working, EV Honda generator not starting, solarvpanel on roof dead, baggage compartment thumb locks missing etc. mostly replaceable at convenience . Tires are decent, and coach was started and moved monthly umtil last months trip within Orange County that did the brakes in. .Starter batteries OK but coach are short, Ive new ones yet to install that will come with it.
Hot water tank replaced, and 30 gallon propane tank valve leak repaired. AC still blows cool on shore power, but dash ac no longer functional. Original vacuum based Cruise control also inoperative. Jacks and park brake functional. The roof was spotsealed about 6 years ago and has recently developed a drip between the window frames in heavy water conditions near drivers’ seat. the rest of the roof appearss OK.
Im advertising this coach as one that would make a great match with someone who has the skills and some time to bring it back to its former glory ,I want to be as honest and upfront about it as I can, and can provide other pics upon request as well as a lot of paperwork and receipts done to this rig over the years including original service log and manuals . . most immediately it will need some brake and possibly some engine electrical work in order to reliably drive back to your own location but if you are handy and want a solid Class A rig then this might be the one for you, can help with logisitics to move as I have limited storage space available, feel free to ask any questions you might have as I know there are other choices on but you’ll find this one to be rather unique
