Vehicle description
Just in time for the 2020 fire season, I have an absolutely beautiful 1992 Mack MR Chassis with 31,923 original miles, 1100 hours. The unit meets Type 1 & 2 Structural Engine and a Type-3 Water Tender. This unit was meticulously maintained by the fire department that developed the units build specifications, its in immaculate condition, the paint is almost flawless. It was replaced this year with a new engine. 100% operational, NFPA 5 person cab, the pumper body is stainless steel, made by LTI in Pennsylvania. The fire pump is a Hale single stage 1500 gpm with a 1,000 gallon poly water tank. It also has a Chelsea PTO driven FMC-BEAN high pressure pump with dual electric booster reels, giving the unit pump & roll capabilities. Each reel has 200" of high pressure hose on it with nozzles. Top mounted 1000 gpm Apollo deck gun, drivers side large diameter TFT piston intake valve, front and side suction intakes, 3 rear 2.5” discharges, one out of the hose bed. Rear mounted 17,000 KW diesel generator with both a remote start from the cab and one on the unit. Forward “cab mounted” hi-intensity scene lights, 2-telescoping hi-intensity scene light that recess behind the front light bar, rear telescoping hi-intensity scene lights that can be removed from the apparatus and used remotely on tripods. 100’ electric cord reel with a multi outlet distribution box. Mack 6 cylinder 300 HP turbocharged engine, 5 speed manual transmission, air conditioning, ward smokeless exhaust system, on-spot tire chains, 22.5” Alcoa aluminum rims and tires, 24’ extension ladder, 14’ roof ladder, 2 hard suction hoses, exterior paint is almost flawless, the fire engine is in absolutely pristine overall condition, Kenwood VHF radio, federal electronic siren with dual speakers, full emergency lighting, The 3 rear jump seats and the officers seat will receive an airpack. The drivers seat is an air ride adjustable. No doubt this is the nicest 1992 Engine on the market, its a bargain at my buy it now price. I have the apparatus manuals and maintenance records, the unit has a current safety inspection from Pennsylvania. This unit is ready to go back into municipal service or provide personal property protection during fire season. I reserve the right to terminate the auction early with a full price $19,999 offer. Check my fire apparatus feedback on ebay, bid with absolute confidence! I will store the vehicle up to 60 days with full payment for the new owner to arrange transport. I would also be willing to pick up the new owner at the airport in Richmond Va if your driving her home. I drove her home 250 miles, she drove like a dream. I might consider trading this unit for a Type-5 or 6 4x4 brush truck in similar condition.
