| “339,786 miles. Owned by a mobile mechanic serviceman for many years until he recently retired. Very well taken care of, very good shape for the year. Chevy 6.2L V8 Diesel, 4 speed manual transmission. Drove back over 100 miles, up & down hills and it ran very good. When warmed gear synchronizer grinds a little bit going into 3rd, but it shifts in fine and it's easy to compensate for. Good tires, single axle, DRW. Good body for year and miles. It's solid and the underneath looks clean. It recently (within past few years) got a new paint job that looks done right. Interior is clean but well-used. It has a 16ft cargo area that's set up to use as a mechanic or part delivery van. It has a crane for lifting engines or heavy parts, a vice, drawers and shelving and a small Snap-on tool chest. Sorry, no tools included :(. Locking roll-up rear door and a passenger side entry door with cab access to the rear. The cab is good shape. Power inverter wired into some lights. You are looking at a 1992 Chevrolet P30 Step Van with a Grumman-Olson body. 339,786 miles. This van was owned by a mobile mechanic serviceman for many years until he recently retired. This mechanic took very good care of the van and it is in very good shape for the year and miles. It has a Chevy 6.2L V8 Diesel engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. These engines are known for being a bit underpowered, but we didn"t have any problems with it driving it back through the mountains about 100 miles. It drove very smooth and pulled the hills good. The only problem we noticed is that when it was warmed up the 3rd gear synchronizer would grind a little going into gear, but it still shifted fine and it could be compensated for by adjusting the RPM while shifting. It"s a single axle, dual rear wheel and it has good tires. The body is in very good shape for the year with no damages and a nice, newer paint job, and the underneath looks clean. The 16ft cargo area is in good shape and is ready to be used as a mechanic or part delivery van. It has a crane for lifting heavy parts, a vice, drawers and shelves, and a small Snap-On tool chest (sorry no tools). It has a locking roll-up rear door and a passenger side access door with cab access to the rear. The cab is in good shape and it has a large power inverter included that is hooked up to some lights in the rear.
