| “This is how the humvee should have been built. It features a 250hp 4BT Cummins motor with a 4L80E transmission. It actually is capable of accelerating while going uphill!!! For a humvee, it's fast. I've had it up to around 80mph. The only issues I know of is the driver's side door window zipper needs to be repaired, needs a little touch up paint, and there's a short in the horn.” |

Vehicle description
1992 Humvee M1097. This humvee has a 4bt Cummins diesel motor (no lift kit) with a 4l80e overdrive transmission. It also has a heavy duty brush guard (in the first picture), a 9k WARN winch, and a heavy duty rear bumper. It has rear bench seats, and 17 inch super swamper tires. Truck had 21,000 miles on it when we got it and now has around 1000 miles on the motor and transmission. It also has a motor driven air compressor and air horns (VERY loud, 150 psi, capable of driving an impact wrench). We also added the rear 17 gallon fuel tank that was only available on the H1. I believe that with the improved fuel mileage, and extra fuel capacity this truck should have a range of over 700 miles. Also, if you are looking for a 4 door, it"s an easy conversion; all you do is change the top. The truck comes with a clean Florida title and Federal Form 97.
