Ready for its next mission, this Gulf War veteran military pickup from the Army Artillery Division has been checked out and demilitarized.
It features a strong 6.2L diesel engine upgrade and sports the latest military BFGoodrich tires on combat wheels. It has also been upgraded with a green high-performance washable filter and a keyed ignition cylinder lock (with spares). The driver"s seat has been modified to rest on an adjustable track to allow for taller drivers. Batteries (24v) have both been replaced within the last year.
This truck drives surprisingly tight and handles great on the road. It has no problem at all picking up speed and staying up with traffic on the highway. I purchased the Humvee from Barrett -Jackson Northeast Auction at Mohegun Sun Connecticut, and actually drove the truck home to Rowley Mass comfortably and without issue. The odometer states 34K miles, though I am not certain of the accuracy of this figure, and could certainly be 134K given its age. From what I understand of the vehicles history, it did participate in Desert Storm. - VIN - 006419
I have routinely taken this truck on long highway drives 50+ miles into the city without concern or issue, and certainly gets a lot of looks on the road. The Removable doors are available and included, though not featured at the time the above photos were taken. Importantly, the truck is civilian road certified and has passed MASS state vehicle safety inspection, which is not particularly easy. All lights and directional are functional, as I have depicted in a video demonstration (with startup), which I can share when inquired. I am selling the truck to free up some space in my garage and make room for a new vehicle on order. The vehicle is located in Rowley, and is available to view and drive for serious inquiries. Buyer is responsible for shipping, however please keep in mind that the truck is extremely wide and will not fit on most common carriers. Please reach out for any additional inquiries.
