Vehicle description

1991 Lesharo motor home. Sleeps 4 The Lesharo Winnebago is the predecessor to the Rialta. This camper was completely retrofitted and modified from one end to the other. New paint, New interior, Updated drive train. This Lesharo has a Buick 3800 Series II 200hp (1997 - 2001) Park Avenue drive train: Including the Automatic Transmission , Buick hubs front and back, 4 wheel Abs Disk Brakes, Buick Dash, Cold dash air, and heat . Climate control, Cruise, Air Bags , factory Buick emissions, and the list goes on. The Dash air cools the whole camper going down the road. The components behind the dash are Buick. Things like the heater core , Ac Evaporator, Dash cluster and Harness. Keeping everything Buick makes things easy if repairs are needed. Before the engine was installed a number of maintenance items were replaced. Items that could give issues down the road. Here is a short list of some of the preventive maintenance items replaced: Belts , new water pump , valve cover gaskets, new alternator, new belt tensioner, coolant elbow, motor mounts, new Radiator ,Ac evaporator, heater core in dash, dryer, expansion valve, Ac compressor, and new ac O-Rings. An extra transmission cooler was added also. If anything mechanical does happen, a single post lift will easily lift the unit and everything unplugs like the factory Buick. If a mechanic can handle a Buick this not any different. It all unbolts the same. I have gotten 18 mpg, Cruise set, going 70 mph on the interstate. This was calculated on paper, not using the on-board computer. Can park it in a normal parking spot. Drives like a car. Approximately 5000 miles since conversion. . .Coach: Completely redone. Everything was removed . New Interior. Changed some of the floor plan. But kept the Kitchen and bathroom in its original location. Gained a great deal of storage space. The booth up front. There is seating for four with 4 seat belts, sleeps 2. This turns into a booth when the table is set in place . The table and pole are stored behind the booth. There are also large pull out drawers under the seats for storage. Bathroom: Going back on the right the pullout bathroom was left in tact, with a shower. I did remove the original commode and added a Porta Potty for easier traveling. . However I will include the original potty . The holding tank is there and its just a matter of bolting the original back in place, if you please. Kitchen On the left the kitchen has a custom Corian counter top with a stainless steel sink and a 2 burner Hobbs glass top stove with a good size Fridge below. The fridge is 110. But don"t let that discourage you. The fridge runs off an inverter. When going down the road the alternator easily handles it. As soon as you shut off the engine it switches from the Chassis battery to the two deep cycle Coach battery"s tucked under the camper . This is Great for boon docking. The fridge switches over to 110.as soon as you plug in the Camper. Also when the camper is plugged to 110 it automatically charges the two coach batteries. Across from the Kitchen is a pantry and a closet with a microwave tucked in above. The furnace is in this area also. The Bedroom, (Sleeps 2), is a large extra long full size bed. The way it"s built it feels like a larger bed. And at the very back is a hamper for your clothes that drops down into a designated storage area . This can be accessed from the outside also and it"s lockable. For a small camper there is a lot of storage . There is a great deal of storage under the bed. This can be accessed from the inside through the sliding door or from the outside with a fairly large lockable door. Awning: Is a the factory covered awning that has legs that fold out more like a popup would have . The legs attach to the camper or set on the ground. Its in good shape. Issues: The speedometer cluster, a common issue with Buick . The lights in the gear selector area will sometimes dim. To fix this, the cluster will need to be sent off . It has a chip, that has been fixed but still shows ,in the lower right corner of the windshield. It is smaller than a dime. The Rt Mirror jiggles a little at certain speeds going down the road. The camper is quiet and stable going down the road . I spent a lot of time with sound deadening. It has a offset receiver on the Lt side below the power cord. I thought I would want a generator box someday .But I didn"t need it . I do have the beginnings of a generator box to slide into that hitch if would like it. The Ac will run on a 2000 Honda generator. And there is enough room to store a generator under the bed when not in use. There is a 2" receiver in the middle below the license plate with a trailer light connector. A mini spare tire mounted underneath the rear on the rt side. Tires: great shape. New low profile Ac on top New Fantastic Fan New Interior Three Batteries . One for the chassis (up front) and two deep cycles ( under ) for the coach. All the batteries have disconnects. . This Lesharo is fun, comfortable and easy to drive. I will say this is the only camper that I have gotten a thumbs up while driving it. If you want to see it let me know.
