If you have wanted an Van/RV, but do not want a huge vehicle nor to be limited by weather (snow) or weight, THIS IS IT! It is not very big but we always appreciated that. We purchased it from the importer and performed the updates above. I have driven it in snow storms and it is rock solid; we engaged the 4WD then for added confidence. The interior is brilliant but yet compact. The above-cab bed is great, you can go to bed early or sleep in while others cook/eat or do whatever. The shower area is great for storage and the absence of a toilet (which my family would have never used) is nice. A camp toilet fits well as an easy option as well.
All the paperwork is in order and it is registered in Washington State. By the way, we live on the dry side of the state ("300 days of sun") and there are no leaks. We have used it for a few trips and need to part with it due to building a cabin this year and an inability to bring my 79 year-old mother in it any more (although she did come a couple times last summer).
The Diesel runs well and the transmission is smooth. It gets 17-23 MPG on most outings, but you can get to 13-14 if going up mountains or in very high winds. Neither I nor my wife have had trouble shifting with the left hand. Note, it is a manual 5 speed, so if you can"t drive stick, you will have to learn in a parking lot. The right-hand drive is legal and actually nice when navigating around cyclists or narrow streets. The camper itself is narrow which we REALLY like as you can park anywhere a full-size truck can park.
We listed it as local pickup. We would consider negotiating a drop-off trip not too far from Central Washington.
We would be glad to answer questions or send more photos or videos.
