Vehicle description

Hi-Point was a company owned by John Penton of Penton motorcycles fame. They made the famous Hi-point Alpinestars leather riding boots and all kind of other motocross gear back in the 70s and 80s. Danny Magoo Chandler was sponsored by Hi-Point while riding for Maico and through his Honda years. Anywho, the trailer is unique due to its fiberglass construction. It rides on a steel ladder frame with a plywood floor and a fiberglass shell. These trailers have become extremely scarce due to them being rust prone and tons or hauls to and from race tracks. This trailer has not been exposed to road salt and is in terrific shape. The fiberglass shell is not cracked and will shine up nicely with a coat of wax. The ladder frame and all its supports are good condition. It"s been stored indoors most of its life just shows normal wear and tear. It pulls like a feather, is very aerodynamic and stable going down the road due to its low center of gravity. Overall length is 14 feet 4 inches and overall width is 6 feet 6 inches. It only weighs 1040 lbs and has a gross weight of 3800 lbs. The back door is 46" wide at the widest point near the bottom and 40" at the top. It has Al-Ko Hubs with independent rubber damping element suspension. The trailer comes with 2 wheel chocks to secure bikes. It also comes with 2 spare wheels with good tires. The tires on the trailer are in good condition and are safe for long distance trips. I just had the trailer out last weekend on a 300 mile round trip.
A super cool piece that will turn heads everywhere you go. Perfect for you vintage dirt bike or cruiser. I haul my Maico and Husqvarna bikes in it but am losing my storage space and therefore must sell some of my toys.
Comes with a copy of the owner"s manual. Trailers in Ohio do not come with titles. They are weighed and then registered with the DMV. So there is no title. Keep that in mind when bidding. I"m not sure how your state handles trailer titles/registrations.
