Vehicle description
This sale is for an excellent running and driving 1990 Mazda Miata racecar. This car can be used for endurance racing, NASA, SCCA racing, or any other track events. The car has a nice Ultra Shield Aluminum seat, Sparco quick release steering wheel, cold air intake, Aluminum racing radiator, fire system, belts, race radio harness and antenna, AMB Race Transponder, race exhaust, race suspension, and ducted race brakes.
It will need the new Penske Spec Miata suspension to be legal for Spec Miata next year or run as-is in any track day or endurance series.
The car comes with 4 documented SCCA Logbooks and title. I raced this car on track a few times this year at Atlanta Motorsports Park and it operated perfectly, good engine, good transmission, new battery, brakes, and chassis set-up. The engine runs great with no major issues and survived hot track days without any cooling issues as well.
The car comes with numerous spare parts, extra front bumper, spare transmission, spare rotors, bearings, bushings, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, tie rod, slave cylinder, belts, hoses, manual etc.
The car comes with two sets of Kosei race wheels and tires, Almost new (purchased this year 2019) Toyos drys with only three heat cycles on the car purchased for the last race.
The car is very clean with relatively good paint for a racecar. The interior and rollcage were professionally done and are in great shape as well. Some have asked about head clearence, and this Aluminum Seat is mounted well and low, I am 5"10" and fit perfectly in the car, I have driven other Spec Miatas that did not provide the head clearence that this car does.
The Aim Data System and screen are not included in the sale.
Please feel free to call/text me with questions, thanks. I also have a short video that I can send you of the car running and driving. I have not been able to upload it here yet. Thanks
There are many other great details about the car that I will add as I remember them, but generally speaking this is an excellent racecar that is ready to go back on track. Please let me know any questions you have, thanks!
