| “1990 Chinook Concourse 18 Plus 21 ft. w/ 7.4 Lt. Ford engine Fair condition. 6 new tire's, canopy. The hood has chip marks but the paint has held up well with a degree of fading. The interior is in fair condition. The hinges on all the cabinets should be replaced. The closet and rear door should be replaced. Drivers door lift motor is not working. Has a 2.8 generator with 808 hrs. vehicle be sold as where is. May not run although I drove it to the shop & it ran nice with rear air shocks. The vehicle is listed for sale locally and may be removed at any time.” |

A beauty of a design. The Chinook Concourse 18 Plus with a 7.4 Lt V-8. I purchased the vehicle to replace my 1978 Toyota Chinook, Newport as the concourse has the full bathroom, toilet, sink and shower along with a full size fridge, microwave, 4 burner stove-oven and generator. The bad! I moved to Mexico 11 years ago and Mexico will only allow an American 1 U S plated vehicle. You must put Mexican plates on any 2nd vehicle. The cost and fees are prohibitive. The other option is I drive the Toyota out of Mexico, have the 10 year permit sticker removed, sell the vehicle and drive the new Chinook from Washington State. I have a number of reasons for not bringing the Chinook to Mexico as the nicer the vehicle the likely you will stopped and asked for a tip, donation or threat to tow your vehicle. In this case a sober mind prevails. The 1990 has new carpet and the seating areas need to be re-covered as well as the drivers and passengers seat. The previous owner and I had just checked the stove, oven and furnace when the vehicle ran out of propane. Aye sit need a bit of work like light bulbs, cabinet hinges but it is almost 18 years old.
