Vehicle description
This RV is in real good shape. we used it for a month last year, drove from Seattle down to San Jose. parked it for 10 months and just picked it up again. it started right up no problems.
Traveling Package with Heavy Duty Tow Package, This is a Beautiful Coach that has been lovingly maintained
Powered by a Ford 460 with a Banks Power Pack. Banks Power Pack cost was $1820.42 plus installation. See https:/ www.summitracing.com/parts/gbe-48810/overview/make/ford Read about Banks Power Pack Performance at http:/ bankspower.com/techarticles/show/35-Making-Your-Motorhome-Better-Than-New
Transmission is a C6 with US Gears Gear Splitter, Auxiliary US Gears Gear Splitter cost was $1600 plus installation. This coach has all the power you need to haul your toys. (it pulled our H3 Hummer on a 1-axle dolly from Seattle to San Jose without any hickups, and we ran the coastline, not just straight and flat highway !) :-)
the refridgerator didn"t cool down anymore so we had it repaired by a professional RV repair shop.
tires were old so we had all 6 replaced just now ! (2.000 usd) (also had wheel alignment done just to be sure)
Last year we bought a 1 axle tow-dolly new to tow our car around with us. (3.500 usd) This dolly is included in this sale, with clear Washington state title as well.
Hydraulic levelling jacks make setting up at the campsite a 3 minute job, in 3 more minutes you can have the holding-tank waste water hooked up and the cable antenna connected to the RV-parks antenna circuit and you"re ready for a beer :-)
The RV comes with pots, pans and plates. some handy tools and gadgets and a queensize double airbed with it"s own airpump as a substitute for the fold-out sofa (slightly more cramped at night, but more comfortable to sleep on)
Solid Maple cabinetry throughout (not veneer or plastic)
there"s a briquette BBQ, a fold-out camping table and 4 foldable chairs with cupholders.
it has a powerfull Honda generator built in, and a house battery-bank that"s also charged through a solar panel on the roof.
an inverter from that housebank hands you 110 volt power while not running the generator (or being hooked up to land-power in the RV-park) through a dedicated power outlet over the kitchen counter.
The kitchen has a microwave / oven / grill / broiler, including a hood over the stove. there"s a small icemaker under the sink which, granted, does not work at this time (there was bound to be one thing that didn"t work right ?) :-) we never had it repaired because we didn"t deem it necessary for our needs.
This is a real nice RV which will give you camping fun for years to come i am sure !
have fun bidding and good luck !
I hold the right to pull the RV out of the auction as i have it offered for sale elsewhere also. the mileage may change slightly as we are driving it down a little bit more to LA.
