1989 Mack RW - 653 SUPERLINER Tri - axle dump truck. We are updating our fleet for the 2018 season. This is a good running truck.
The truck has a Cat 3406b engine, (factory rebuilt 350 hp.) with dual air filters, Eaton fuller 8LL transmission, with 44,000 lb. rears. I am only guessing at the gear ratio for the 5.29?, only a guess. Hendrickson spring suspension. Brakes, seals and rear drive axle torque arms were just replaced in November of 2017. It was last serviced in October. All the lights and back up alarm work. Dual fuel tanks 120 gallon on the driver side, 150 gallon on the passenger side. Dump body is 15 ft with working electric tarp, dump body will need some paint. Front tires are 425/65/22.5 with 75 % tread. Tag axle tires are 60% tread. The drive tires are 75% tread. PTO controls and air latch for tailgate are fully working. Cab and doors have small rust holes on each side. Driver side wing window was replaced in October 2017. Speedometer gauge may have been replaced before we bought the truck. Cab and body strobe lights work. Prior to my ownership a small crack was fish plated on dump hoist base frame drivers side, (note the picture above). this repair was done by the previous owner, but was not done properly. Should be redone. The truck has air conditioning but does need to be recharged. A new starter was just installed the week of Christmas 2017. The interior of the truck has factory carpeting on the floor and doors/ceiling have interior padding, with a am/fm/cd player radio. This truck is a work horse, and needs to be run on the open highway! We bought this truck as spare, and was not used a lot. If there is any questions contact me by email or phone. 484 256 8331.
