Vehicle description
Relisted due to a deadbeat Ebay new member, therefore, I will not accept bids from newer members, sorry. I had purchased this Rollback 2 years ago just because it was a really cool truck in my eyes. I had driven this Rollback about 100 miles in the past 2 years. Runs and shifts very well and everything works as it should. The brakes and brake booster stopped this truck very well. It is equipped with the Silverado package which includes working A/C, AM/FM Stereo Radio, Automatic Transmission, etc. Interior is in great condition. The mileage is very low and it shows. Transmission shifts well and the PTO is driven by the transmission, not belt driven. I believe it is a Spicer rear because the Spicer name is on the drive shaft. Still has the order number written in white crayon throughout the vehicle from the engine to the shift tower. The Cab paint is recent and the only issues is the fiberglass hood has 2 areas that have slight cracks by the hinges and minor scratches here and there. The bed is full of scrapes and scratches as expected. The original Dealers inspection sticker is still on the windshield. All lights work including the yellow turret lights. This Rollback came from New Jersey, I had it trucked down to Florida and have it stored in a climate controlled facility. This Rollback had been well taken care of it"s entire life. I believe in full disclosure so the following is the issues that this Rollback currently has, radiator has a slight leak, not a pressurized leak, on occasion I would see a few drops of anti freeze on the ground, not sure why or where, runs cool and does not leak while running. Another issue is the RPM Tach is a little bouncy at low RPM"s. Another issue is a small engine oil leak from the oil pan, needs to be tighten or a new pan gasket, the leak is very minor, the most that I have seen is about the size of a dime. Another issue is when you do activate the Rollback I have noticed a small leak of hydraulic fluid towards the back of the bed, not while in operation, only afterwards when parked, one of the hoses might need to be tighten or replace. The Michelin Tires have very good thread on all six tires, however, I do not know how old they are, I haven"t noticed any dry rotting. The chrome simulators are dated and do have dents and curb rash, however, still show very well and could use a polishing. I bought this truck just to have it, I do not own a tow company and I have never used it as a service vehicle. Great truck and I hate to part with it because it is truly a one of a kind. Selling it because the wife feels that I have no business having such a large vehicle taking up so much space Blah Blah Blah! ! The minor issues are easily corrected by someone with mechanical knowledge, I do not. I may have missed an item or two. The windows are clear and roll up and down like it did when it left the factory. There is zero rust on the cab and only surface rust under the rollback bed. The doors open and close like they did when it was new. This truck will not disappoint. Keep in mind that this is a 33 year old vehicle and new issues may arise at anytime. Please ask any question that you may have and I will answer them with the best of my knowledge. If you are in the area I would love to show you this beauty. Not sure who manufactured the steel bed, however, it does have a Ramsey Winch and the control panel is made by Challenger. The bed control panel is only on the drivers side behind the rear wheels. Still has the original mud flaps from the Rollback Dealer installer. This truck is being sold just as I purchased it 2 years ago, the only thing that I have done to it was a oil change and a new muffler ($500). If you are a out of state buyer I would suggest that you have it shipped because it is a old vehicle and if I"m not being very familiar with it I would not take the chance of driving it for a very long distance. I am flexible and can meet with your shipper at any time. Please don"t waste my time like the last bidder, do not place a bid unless you are 100% sure. Please inspect photos carefully and ask any questions that you may have before bidding. Thank you
