The trailer is back on the auction block as the last week"s bidding winner (applefitz) reneged on the payment. 1989 Chariot V-Nose 10x6 Fully Enclosed Fiberglass motorcycle trailer with independent rubber torsion axle suspension. This motorcycle carrier is designed for full dressers or sport bikes. Its also designed for a-one-person for loading, unloading or move it around. Purchased since new, this trailer has had minimal use, always garaged and well cared for. It looks like new! The tires are in very good condition with plenty thread and free from dry rot. They were replaced once in the past. The spare tire is brand new and has never been on the ground. Three hubcaps were installed. The trailer was completely repainted a few year back and the paint is shiny and looks great! There is no damage to any part of the body including the fenders. All the lights work and are damage-free. The suspension is an independent rubber torsion axle system, it works wonderfully! Much more durable, quieter, effective and safer than the traditional leaf-spring systems. Its simple great! The aerodynamics of this trailer in incredible, you"ll hardly noticed its behind you. The enclosure is a one-piece unibody fiberglass construction with foam-core walls with built-in "R" factor. The floor is 7/8" thick plywood reinforced with a non-skid fiberglass coating making it stronger and easier to maintain. The frame is a heavy 11 gauge steel and its free from rust. Under the rear of the trailer are two folding telescopic jacks to assist to stabilize the trailer while loading/unloading cargo. The front adjustable/removable jack has a 7" wheel to assist in moving the trailer with ease. The empty trailer weighs 700 lb. Its rated to carry 1,500 lb. The axle capacity is 2,200 lb.And the tire capacity is also 2,200 lb. Inside the trailer is a removable chrome front wheel chock, 8-heavy-duty eye hooks to securely tie the bike down and a 12-volt overhead light. The rear door/ramp is heavy-duty and it has the same anti-skid fiberglass coating as the floor. The ramp"s rubber seal is in great shape and keeps the cargo dry and air-tight. The inside measurements are: 54"W x 111"L x 66"H. The perfect place to store the motorcycle. It comes with (4) wheel chocks. You"ll not find a better one at this price. Just look how clean its!
