Vehicle description
Up for sale is this great little 1988 Scamp camper. It has been redone with all new subflooring, flooring, L shaped counter, upholstery, paint, sunbrella awning, custom decals, electrical, etc. The new layout consists of an L shaped counter up front and the original dinette booth in the back. The counters are vintage maps and fish with an epoxy top coat. It gives you tons of counter space for a coffee pot, tv, electric cook tops, or anything you would need. There is actually a lot of storage in this camper, above and below the counter, and underneath the booth seats. The dinette does make a bed. All windows are original, the front is plexiglass with the rock guard and the rest are glass that slide open and have screens. Even the little window in the door is glass and slides open and has a screen.
This camper has no 12 volt system. It had been taken out when we got her. It is 110, and has three outlets, and one light that runs off of it. In place of the 12 volt system, that only powered two lights, we added three battery operated lights. By battery operated, I mean they take AA batteries. There is one above the sink, one above the dinette, and one above the front counter. Someone had added a window A/C in the front of the camper. We removed it and covered the hole with a thick gauge metal. The fridge works but I would recommend a new one. The space we framed out is for a bit bigger fridge and the one in it is kind of ugly. The rat fur is in good shape but does show minor stains in areas. I spilled the paint on the inside, bottom of the front door. There is no fresh water holding tank and the sink drains out the bottom of the camper, there are no holding tanks. The exterior lights work, brake, tail and blinker. The side marker lights do not work.
With all that said, this is a really nice camper that would be great for couples. It feels really spacious to only be 13" long and has been redone inside and out. Our price reflects the things I"ve mentioned above. It is water tight, with no leaks. I am adding more photos to 2trailergirlz on FB. Clear NC title and everything pictured is included with the sale except the tent poles.
Please see all photos and send any questions you have. You are more than welcome to come see it in person, just message us and we can set up a day and time. A $500 non-refunable deposit via paypal is due within 24 hours of auction close. We can store the camper for as long as needed but payment in full is due within 5 days of auction close, cash or cashiers check only.
