Vehicle description
A rare left hand drive Pinzgauer 718 Turbo diesel . It came out of the military auctions in Salzburg, Austria and is not a Delta force rebuild. The gearbox has been upgraded and it has a nato transfercase as well along with an external fan/cooler for the automatic transmission. Larger intercooler for more power. It was also upgraded with a p93 front intercooler and radiator, housing and headlight mounts. The modifications were done in the U.K. by a pinz specialty shop. We purchased the truck and imported it into the U.S. and have had for 2 years
The truck is a 1988 and runs perfectly with only 42k miles. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the world. These diesel variants are the Cadillac"s of the Pinzgauers! Absolute pleasure to drive, not a chore. Automatic transmission with selectable low range transfer case. Disc brakes at all wheels with dual calipers on each front wheel (stops on a dime)! Power steering (no broken thumbs), working heat, push button lockers with ability to lock all 6 wheels. Comfortable seating in the cab. Large capacity fuel tank (140 liters or 36.9 gallons). It can carry over 3klbs of cargo. Can be comfortably and safely driven on the street or highway at speed. The underbody is virtually rust free and in excellent unrestored original condition and one of the nicest currently available in the country with a MA. TITLE IN HAND READY TO GO! (Not buy now and then we"ll import it. .

* 7 new 255/85/R16 BFG KM2 tires.
* Front winch bumper with a 24v 9klb superwinch.
* Overhead console with stereo system featuring blue tooth and wireless remote and speakers, compartment lighting as well as directional map lighting .
* The cabin is insulated and you can actually have a conversation with the person sitting next to you while driving down the highway.
* New thick rubber checker plate flooring covering under the seats.

* 2 Brand new AGM batteries.

I have all import and clearance paper work from U.S. Customs allowing the vehicle into the country. Truck is in Massachusetts and we have the title in hand!
This is a real Pinzgauer 718M Turbo Diesel that you can comfortably drive on the street/highway and just about anywhere else you wish. The gas versions are glorified tractors by comparison as far as comfort, noise level, and driving enjoyment. Don"t get me wrong I love those too but they are NOT the same. These vehicles are 3 times the truck $100k dollar defender 110s are by every standard and are well suited for all terrains and climates. .
