Vehicle description
1988 Ford Escaper with a 7.5L (460) V-8 engine with automatic transmission. Sleeps 6 comfortably. This RV originally came from Connecticut and has been across both coast. Since I"ve owned her mostly the East coastal line and local travel. She has never let me down, here is a list of a few things that I recall have been done- I will have pull the receipts from the repair shop for a total list. This was a brown Rv which at one point was painted blue and white- definitely not professional but she looks good for her age! What you see is what you get!
Just turn the key and drive away! ( has a 1/4 tank of gas). Care free driving with the cruise control!
The front grill is out of a 1995 F 150 and the old 88 chrome was flaking - So yes its a 1988
Original miles!
Aluminum roof- is original
Will need a cabin battery -current one goes back into my boat!
Tires - back 4 match tread, and front two match replaced around 2015 see pics. Barely any wear!
Shower/tub- never used it, has crack in the wall, but the tub does NOT leak- I used it for storage
No Generator- removed when purchased as the motor was seized.
2014-Awing replaced- spring needs winding-just manually rolled up after each use
2012-Refrigerator serviced
2014- Two need head lights (sealed beam Hi/low)
43500 New Brakes
2017 Front bunk area wood replaced due to front window leak
2010 New radiator & Hoses
2011 New Hot water heater
Oil Changed & Transmission serviced at the beginning of each season
July 2017 replaced fuel guage float
July 2017 replaced pipes and hoses for gas tank
July NYS Inspection-passed 100%- Stickers will be scraped off when purchased per law.
2014-Holly carburetor
2014- Thermostat replaced
Drivers side has de-lamination in a couple of spots, but the window was removed for replacement and not installed for a week, allowed for two ripples to occurs.
The couch/bed was removed prior to purchase of the RV- worked great for our pack-n-play!
The mattress is old-queen size, back walls were painted white and caused some of the paper to pull away as it was applied think and heavy.
Ceiling was partially painted as my buddy wanted to see how it would look, it was never finished.
Any questions feel free to ask!
