"The Submarine" is a fully restored 1988 Chevrolet G30 TravelCraft Class B+ Camper Van with 54,000 original miles. Dimensions are 24" long, and 9"8" tall. 5.7L 350CI V8, automatic trans, power steering and brakes. Cruise Control, AC, full gauges, new audio systems, new swivel buckets, carpet door panels headliner etc.
This Coach has been completely restored, It was purchased by a gentleman that owned an auto repair shop and he was planning on redoing the unit for his family. He did the mechanical restoration, including 7 new tires, rebuilt carburetor, full tune up, shocks, brakes, belts, air pump, alternator, batteries, etc. It has a true dual exhaust that sounds nice, the suspension is tight and the underneath is solid. He then removed most of the interior and was going to redo the inside. Hower Covid Hit and he had to abandon his dream and put it up for sale. We purchased it and took this unit to the next level with a complete interior renovation.
The Interior turned out Amazing! First there is seating for 10, and sleeping for 5, maybe 7 if you want to cuddle. There are 5 seat belts, 2 in the front buckets, and 3 on the driver"s side couch. Complete water system including fresh, grey and black water tanks with 12V pump, 6 Gallon water heater. Propane system for the stove, water heater, refrigerator and the forced air furnace. The Galley Kitchen has dual sink, hood vent for the 4 burner stove, new microwave, 3 way refrigerator, and lots of storage drawers and cabinets. There is also a slide out Pantry, Chick"s DIG Pantries! For comfort there is a rooftop RV AC unit, max air fan and a 6" round roof vent fan for the wet bath. This unit does have a Generator with 141 hours and it runs great.
Here are some of the NEW items. Flooring, headliner, tongue and groove white washed wood throughout, front swivel buckets, LED Lighting, power ports, 2 jackknife couches, cushions/upholstery, curtains, Smart Tv with Audio system, microwave, countertops and tables redone, wet bath redone, cupholders, full kitchen paint, and hardware, max air fan, roof vent fan in the wet bath, wood work, kitchen stainless steel backsplash, coach battery with cut off switch, thermostat, and lots and lots of Love.
The Outside is pretty Amazing as well, While it is all original and unrestored it is in great shape with minor imperfections. It is rust free, the paint is shiny. There are some spots on the stripes where the clear coat is peeling off, some minor scuffs and scratches as you can see in the pictures. But overall it is a very good looking presentable unit. There is no awning, It has brand new LED lights outside as well including 4 custom headlights There is a nice roof top Pod Storage with lots of room for camping gear as well.
I am sure that I am missing some items as we have done a ton of work on this to bring it up to the Awesomeness that it is now, but check out the pictures and let me know if you have any questions.
