Vehicle description
I purchased this RV about 2 years ago for use when visiting my daughter every six weeks in San Diego. The RV has been sitting in her driveway and I have only used it for sleeping and relaxing purposes . She is moving to Dallas so I no longer need it .
After purchase 2 years ago it was driven from Chicago to Dallas with no problems . Then after tune up oil/plug change we drove it from Dallas to San Deigo again with No problems . It was a little sluggish a few times when going up the mountains. This was only on very steep inclines and it was heavily loaded down with equipment and 4 people at the time . . It does not use excessive oil . nor does in over heat . transmission seems fine . no slipping etc . idles well . There have been no water leaks noted and it has rained quite a bit the past 6 months . Like I said . We have had No problems with the RV since purchase. . In the past 2 years the RV has been taken on very short trips . to the beach . etc a few times. It runs Great .
The cab of this truck is in excellent condition considering it"s age . There are no cracks holes in any of the upholstery and the dash and all door panels are also in great shape The rear view mirror will need to be put back up . the original one is still intact and will be left in RV for your use. This RV will need a water heater stove and refrigerator in order to provide full l bathing toileting dining cooking sleeping functionality. The toilet sink and bathtub plumbing /pipes have never been tested however I was told when I purchased it 2 years ago that they were fully functional. as well as the electrical wiring which should be ready to hook up to appliances. There is a vent-hood for the stove still in place( see pictures.).The outside needs painting and the flooring is in need of replacement . however this is purely cosmetic . the unit can be used immediately if needed for shelter . camping etc.
The RV price is being sold as is . at a very reduced price . With alittle work this RV would be awesome . I really hate to give it up ,. I have enjoyed staying in this and really do love it. . however I just dont need it anymore .
Toyota entered the RV market in mid -1970"s with its debut of a unique smaller version of the classic RV . Based on the ToyataHilux (Tacoma) model these pickup trucks were fitted with four different types of four -cylinder engines each offering 100 Horse power ratings .The low output engine"s offered enough power to get the RV from point A to B while maintaining excellent miles per gallon Although lacking a bit in speed the Toyota Mini Motorhomes are highly desired for their durable reliable longevity attributes. Easy to drive and operate the 26" length size allows the RV to be parked almost anywhere as any standard parking space will accommodate its size. A well designed interior floor plan creates a cozy yet surprisingly roomy living space environment. There are several active Toyota Mini Motorhome clubs which you can accessed online despite the original run of the vehicle ending in the early 90’s.
