This coach was converted into a 6 sleeper by Julia Butterfly Hill ( https:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julia_Butterfly_Hill ), the famous political activist from Northern California . It has been also been used by several bands (including Beats Antique) for US tours. It has been fitted with oak flooring, redwood cabinets, redwood trim and bamboo. The curtains are made out of hemp fabric. Kitchen: The kitchen has granite countertops, a sink with hot and cold running water, an AC/DC refrigerator and most of the comforts of a home kitchen. The fridge is less that 2 years old and has been used lightly. Heating and Cooling: The bus has an underfloor radiant heating system and 3 blowers located strategically thought the bus. It is toasty warm in the winter. The heat comes from a Webasto heater which also supplies the hot water for the kitchen and bathroom. There are also two air-conditioning units in the roof for the summer months. Entertainment Area: It has an entertainment area in the back with couches and surround sound for watching movies, etc. The couches in this area can be made into a double bed if another bed is needed. Sleeping: There are 6 bunks on the bed with privacy curtains. The bus can sleep 9 if you use the fold out double bed in the back (usually the couch for the entertainment area) and the folding bed in the kitchen (usually the kitchen table) Power Generation and Storage: A/C power is generated by a 7.5 KW Onan Commercial generator with low hours on it. The bus also has 6 solar panels on the roof and an outback charging system with an FX Charge controller and a VFX inverter for most of your your A/C loads. The 4 Trojan L16H-AC storage batteries are wired in series for 24Volts and also provide 12 volts as needed. The Onan generator can be started from inside the coach if you want to turn it on quickly for a heavy load (i.e. microwave). The coach has plenty of 120 VAC and 12VDC plugs inside. Engine/Transmission/Brakes/Mileage: The mileage is unknown but the engine was rebuilt less than 20K miles ago. The bus has a Detroit Diesel 8V92 engine and it runs great. The transmission and the braking system was also replaced at that time. I have personally driven this bus from Northern California to South Carolina without any problems at all. Tires: The tires are in good shape and the bus is ready to go. Exterior Damage: There is some damage to one of the panels in the middle of the right side. While the door is a bit harder to close, it is still operable. Needs New Door Release Microswitch: The door release switch will need to have a new microswitch put in for the door release as it does not always open reliably but this is not a show stopper for using the bus. Tow Package: The bus has a full tow package with a braking system for the trailer. Video Camera for Back of Bus: If the bus goes at full asking price, I will include the back up camera and the Garmin GPS (Bus/Tractor Trailer model). Title: The bus is titles as an RV with means that it can be driven with a non-CDL drivers license. Also, because of this, the insurance and taxes on the bus are very low (less than $200 per year for me).
