I"m a 1987 Peterbilt cabover that i was going to restore, but don"t have time anymore. -Cummins Big Cam Engine fires right up! straight 7 speed transmission - interior is very clean, and complete, doors shut tight! -Clutch and throttle pedal work good, but brake pedal is froze up from sitting.
-the one bad part is the rear frame, by the drive axles is rusted bad ( pictures so it) And also one rear end has a rust hole in it, The front of the frame is just fine, only over the drive axle is it weak, I was going to buy a newer frame cut off and lengthen it and upgrade the rear ends.
Other than that the truck is in good condition for the age, and body wise is pretty straight, with some tlc would be a cool old truck!
