1987 International Thomas 59 Passenger School Bus
I truly do not think there is a nicer 1987 School Bus in the U.S. If there is I would love to see pictures of it. This bus runs and drives perfectly! !

I bought this bus a year and a half ago when I started a new contract with a local school. They bought the bus new so I am the second owner. I used it as a spare bus for that time. It is a great starting bus. Bus has plug in for block heater and a battery shut off switch. This bus never left me stranded and I would trust this bus to go anywhere.
This bus was built to be a rural route bus so the typical speed is 55mph. Will it go 65mph? ? Sure it will, but the RPM"s are a little high so I always told my drivers to keep it around 55 for best fuel economy.
The chassis on this bus was greased every 3000 miles and oil was changed every 6000 miles.
There is nothing wrong with the bus. Everything works as it should. I am selling the bus because I bought three newer buses last summer so I am selling some of my older fleet.
This bus passed a South Dakota Highway Patrol School Bus Inspection in August of 2019 and is valid until August of 2020. It has to go though an inspection from them every year.
Front Tires and Rear Tires are in great condition. The tires alone are worth $1,000-$1,200.
65 Gallon Fuel Tank.
Seats are in ok condition. There is some rips and tears that are covered up with seat tape (See Pictures).
Storm Glass on the entrance door, driver"s window, and 1st row windows.
Tinted Glass
All owner decals will be removed. The school district information was painted on back in 1987 so that is not easily removable. The school information will remain on the bus.
Will deliver for a fee but bus must be paid for in full before we send the driver out for delivery.
"Buy it now" set at $7,500. Will deliver for Free in the 48 contiguous states if "Buy it now" price is selected or met during the auction.
