I bought this truck in January 1998 from an environmental testing company.
1987 Ford Econoline 350
Condition - Good
Engine - 8 cylinders

You can haul inside and on the top. Rear box is approximately 15 foot long with two side swing doors. Box over cab is an additional 3 and 1/2 feet of space. There is a sliding door going from the cab into the box also.
The entire top of the box is 1/4 inch aluminum diamond deck plate. There is a tie down rail all around. There were two air conditioners on top which have been removed. The cutouts were closed with carbon steel plate. They will need to be resealed as there is a leak around them.
The entire box frame looks to be structural aluminum. (Not sure) Inside of box is plywood which will need a few sheets replaced.
Engine always ran good. It does not smoke or use oil. I had the transmission rebuilt when I bought the truck. It has been driven about 5,000 miles since then.
I have not driven it in about 10 years. I have not started it in about five years. Was cranking and running good when I parked it.
Always kept the antifreeze topped off. I tried to start it recently. Motor turned over and sounded normal but it would not start. I"m guessing it needs a carburetor cleanng and fresh gas.
It has an automatic transmission. I replaced the the original Ford driver side seat with a nice power minivan bucket seat for my own driving and comfort.
Solid Truck in need of a little TLC.
I used it to haul computers for years. Haven"t used it in a long time and it needs to go. Needs battery, carb cleaning, some gas and one or two tires aired up. It also needs a good wash!
Buy it and fix it up, part it out, or just for the box. I am not a mechanic you will have to get it started or tow it home.
