This is a really cool and hard to find 1987 Dodge Xplorer Xtra Van 19 foot Class B Camper that is ready to have some fun today! Take your big mountain adventure or open the body width rear door at the beach and have a sunset oceanfront dinner. These models are very sought after right now and difficult to find. The Class B RV is designed to let you get all of the enjoyment out of a motorhome without the hassle of driving a 40 foot long breadbox at 20 MPH up a mountain with your flashers on. You can cruise right up at 65 MPH in this. It can be parked in a normal parking space or in your driveway. You can even make a U turn at a light if you need to. It is extremely easy to drive. It is powered by the workhorse Dodge 5.2 liter V-8 that runs beautifully. It is smooth, strong, and quiet. Automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, power windows, and engine AC. It is furnished with a stove, refrigerator, sink, toilet, double bed, and also roof air conditioning. The Explorer has been well kept. The body is nice. The paint is decent. There is some peeling of the clearcoat on some of the stripes, which seems to be common on these. It is a nice RV. It is not a new $100,000 RV. Four Captain"s chairs with a removable table set-up between the two rear chairs. The bed folds down in the rear. When not in use, it folds up into a nice booth setup with a table for dining. The Portapotty is in the middle and has privacy doors that fold out on both sides. The upholstery on the seats is original and, while not torn up, does have fading and wear. A nice feature is the rig has so many windows and, when you raise all of the blinds, it is flooded with sunlight. Not dark and dreary like some. The driver"s power window needs to be helped up. Awning on the passenger side that pulls out. Aluminum wheels with raised white letter tires. Nice aftermarket CD stereo system. Clean, clear CA title in hand with current registration good until December of 2018. I have the original manuals, as well as many service records and receipts for the van. This RV will sell this first time advertised! This is a great deal for a cool vintage camper. Inspections are encouraged. I am located in Solana Beach, California in North County Coastal San Diego.
