Vehicle description
I love this little RV but my boyfriend"s got a truck with a camper so we don"t find ourselves using this as much anymore. It has a full bed up top and the table in the back folds down to make a queen bed, sleeps 4 pretty comfortably. I"ve had it for 6 years and I"ve used it for trips all around California and the Eastern Sierras, never had any issues. Also lived in it a couple times for 3-6 month periods and loved every second of it. It doesn"t leak and the wall thermostat heater is clutch in the winter when you do want to freeze at night.
The good:
- Registered and smogged it in June (has always passed first time)
- 6 brand new tires (less than 50 miles on them)
- Resealed roof
- New fridge/freezer
- Remodeled inside: new interior wood siding, wood bracing under the bench seats, upholstery (the foam and the coverings), curtains, tore out the carpet and put in vinyl floor (so much easier to clean)
- Everything works: sink, shower, toilet, 4 burner stove, oven, wall thermostat heater
- Lots of storage: above and below table in back of RV, 2 outside access storage spots, side closet next to sink, cupboards above stove and above fridge/freezer.
The bad:
- Salvaged title: I bought it 6 years ago with a salvaged title due to the damage to the back end (see photos). It leaked a bit back there but with the RV tape and some silicone, it hasn"t been a problem for the past 2 winters. Nothing wrong with the engine or how it drives, it"s just that the back-end damage was worth more than the RV so it got salvaged.
- I took the AC unit out 2 years ago because at that time it leaked there and I never used the AC unit (you had to be plugged into a campsite to use it, and I usually am using it out in the wilderness). Since the AC unit was taken out and the roof resealed, it hasn"t leaked. But if you wanted the AC unit, sorry.
- No AC in the front of the cab either. It has never worked for me and I haven"t tried to fix it. Not sure if it just needs to be recharged.
Let me know if you"re interested! It"s a good price, so please don"t lowball me.
