This truck is set up to haul wood products between sawmills here in VA, NC, WV, PA. Can carry up to 52K cargo legally on the interstate without being overweight or needing a permit. On VA state roads with the 5% overweight Permit, can carry up to 56K cargo. Overall combination (truck/trailer) length is just under 65", allowing travel on length restricted VA state roads. This truck can do it all!
Many folks talk “old School” but this is the real thing - I’m 70 years old and one original pioneers of the Alaska “ice Roads” starting in 1974 running out on the frozen Arctic Ocean at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This is my 4th model 359 Pete and set up the Alaska way, lift axle, 250” wb and RTO 15 sp. The list of work done on truck is too extensive to list here. This is a working man’s truck, no fancy paint job or tons of chrome, just reliability and set up to do the hardest work you can imagine. Big Cam III running about 380 hp, 40K RE, 24.5 rubber, :488 Gear Ratio (will top out at 68 mph) Tare weight of truck/trailer is 28,000 pd and with the truck lift axle, loads can be placed anywhere on trailer with out going over axle weight. As pictured this truck can bridge 94,000 pd on 6 axles. 6’ of overhang clearance length on front of trailer if needed.
The good Stuff: Truck NO DEF required - ever NO DPF equipment required - ever NO ELD required - ever NO computer malfunctions - ever This is an ALL mechanical truck - Comes w/ 63” & 36” sleepers Custom oilfield front bumper - not shown, bolts on to frame * available Tulsa 34K oilfield truck winch and Head Ache Rack, extra cost
The good Stuff: Trailer Frame, straight/true No damage - has been well taken care of 4 new air bags 2 new air tanks Virgin tires 14 winches Brakes @ 70% 24.5 Tires All Aluminum wheels Self - adjust brakes
