Vehicle description
Immaculate. Ford F-350, 460-V8 gas. Sanford, (now E-One), aluminum rescue body. NO RUST.NO DENTS. 300 gal. aluminum tank. 750 GPM Hale Pump. Fully equipped fire /EMS/rescue tools, 4" LDH, 2- pre-connects with Akronmatic nozzles, portable generator, air compressor. Hurst 10,000 psi hand pump with spreader, ram and cutter. 10 Ton Porta-Power, Complete compliment of hand tools, rescue ropes. Defibrillator, Trauma kit, 02, 5-gal 1-3% AFFF-ATC. 2-1/2 Gal water, 20# Purple K and 10# ABC extinguishers. Code 3 quad rotating light bar, wig/wags, 2-Night-Fighgters that extend, grille lights. Ready for service. Just add your radio, turnout gear and firefighters. Seat belts for 3.
I"m the second owner. Piseco NY, a Hamlet in the Mohawk Tribal Nation bought it new. 8391 original miles, and of that I put 1600 miles on it for car shows and charity events. All the rubber, shocks, belts, etc. were replaced when I got it, they were just worn from spending it"s whole life in a heated garage. It is fully equipped to respond to any emergency. The Piseco Volunteer FD lettering was the only thing on the truck, but it was painted on and damaged when I got the duck tape off. The cab doors were laser paint matched. Schnectady is tribute lettering only to the town my Dad grew up in, (and where I was conceived). They had an almost identical truck housed at the airport. It is all vinyl lettering applied over wax, and easily removed when a heat gun or hair dryer.
Every light works including every compartment, and all the compartments are vented. I had it pump tested in 2018 and it pumped as if new. There is about 550" of 1and 2 year old 4" Storz LDH in the bed and another, 50" in the tool compartment. The pre-connects are both 150", 1-1/2" and 2-1/2". 300" hi-rise or wildfire light weight hose pack. 20" flexible hard suction, 16" aluminum ladder. The air packs both work, but are beyond service date, (it would been a bad day if I actually had to use one). Truck is 4 speed manual with PS and PB. Lock out front hubs. Tires are 85% or better. I"m selling for heath reasons, I had one C-spine surgery and as we all know, fire rescue gear is heavy, and I have another surgery looming. The truck has won numerous trophies and awards and they also go with the truck. It sells with all the equipment only, for the same health reason.
It does have a NY State title, but CT does not title vehicles this age. A copy of the Connecticut registration and a bill of sale is all you need and all the other States know that. It is located in Meriden CT, inspections can be accommodated. I hate to see it go, in all honesty it looks, runs, drives and pumps like a new truck, I"d like to see it back with a fire dept. working again. Please, no low ball offers, I have a lot more money into the truck and equipment than I"m selling it for. Thank you for looking.
