Need to get away? This 1986 Winnebago Chieftain motorhome is 33 feet long and could be The "He or She-shed" you"ve been looking for! It was purchased for outdoor/backyard entertaining space but could be used as office space or quiet space to retreat from the kids without being away from home. I am financially unable to give it the proper love and care that it deserves. This motorhome was purchased from the original elderly owners and has not been driven for many many years, probably since the 90;s. Unfortunately, the previous owners could not locate the ignition keys. Luckily, the ignition key is not needed to turn the steering wheel or shift out of park like an automobile.
I do not know what it will take to get it running. I purchased four new rear tires after the vehicle followed me home(size 8r19.5 mounted and balanced) that are on the vehicle now; you will need them when you have your, new to you, motor home towed to the space of your choice or should you attempt to get this very low-mileage motor home drivable. The front tires appear to be original, but do hold air. Bonus! ! The mileage shown on the odometer, and generator hours are actual. I am too cheap to purchase 3 batteries so I plugged it into my house once and the interior lights illuminated, but a standard 110v 15amp outlet was not enough power to test the roof a/c etc. The motor is a 454 Chevrolet, and a Turbo 400 transmission on a P30 chassis. Interior ceiling looks like it leaked at one time. Vehicle is dusty inside and could use a real thorough cleaning. The interior is not trashed. All the paperwork I can find will go with the vehicle. Please make your own shipping and or towing arrangements! I have a clean Maryland title in my name If you are truly interested, please feel free to inspect this old behemoth in person.
