SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Most of your questions are probably written below. Ok, so here"s the situation: I put this camper up for sale on Ebay in March this year and had a buyer. But the buyer has disappeared and has not picked up the camper, so I"m putting it up for sale again. The camper is in Indio, CA , but I have since returned to Australia . I have a friend in Indio who is now helping me with the sale. If you decide to buy the camper, I will put you in contact with him (he has the keys and paperwork). Engine: 1985 Chevy G30 5.7l V8 , with Shasta home Odometer: 67+ + original miles Length: 21 ft long (easy to park) Interior: Sleeps a total of 5 - clean with new upholstery and curtains in the "house". - Bathroom with shower recess, toilet, hand basin. - Hot water thanks to propane water heater. - Kitchen includes propane cooker, fridge which runs on either propane or electricity, sink and cupboards. Plenty of storage! - Two dining tables with seats (one small table, one large table). -Beds: The tables fold down to make beds. Small table folds down to a single bed and the large table folds down to a bigger bed that can sleep two people. (The photo with the teddy bear is a photo of one of the tables folded down into the single bed). There"s also a slide out bed over the driver"s cabin that sleeps 2 people. - Insect screens on the windows and two air vents. - The AC runs when the engine is on. If you buy a generator (not included), the AC will also run off a generator.
Maintenance I had done while I owned it: I installed 2 6v gel batteries to run the house lights and these have hardly any use (maximum 10 hours), as well as a new alternator to accommodate house batteries. The total cost of batteries and alternator was over $1200 (I have the receipt). I also had all the belts replaced and new spark plugs put in. The tires have a good tread on them still.
I have been told there is something wrong with the exhaust, but I don"t know what. I was told about it after I returned to Australia, so not willing to spend more money on a camper I can no longer use. This issue is reflected in the price.
There"s no generator or solar panels because I didn"t need them. I"m selling the camper as is.
Please feel free to contact me to arrange an inspection. If you decide to buy the camper, a $1000 non-refundable deposit is required and completion of the sale is within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping. Price is firm.
