Vehicle description
1985 Mercedes 409D custom imported by Leo A. Parker. This is a very rare vehicle in the USA but many were sold in Europe and around the world so parts are available.
This has a full conversion with wet bath, refrigerator with freezer, sink, stove top, electronic monitor for tank levels, rooftop AC, etc. There is no generator.
It has the legendary Mercedes 5 cylinder diesel engine and automatic transmission in good condition. This RV does need TLC and repairs including engine valve cover oil leak repair, chassis and house electrical repairs, etc. It has a new engine battery and it starts easily; I start it about once a month and shift the transmission to reverse and drive. There is some minor rust that I think is from time near the ocean. It was found in Santa Fe NM with California license plates expiring in 2000 and driven to Houston TX where I found it. I trailered it to Portales NM and it is still on the trailer since 2017 so I need to sell.
I have a clear New Mexico Title in my name. The trailer was new in 2017 and only used for one trip to Houston; and is also for sale. I will deliver for $1.00 per one-way mile from Portales NM 88130.
