1985 AmGeneral M923A1 5 Ton 6x6 truck with 14" bed.
For sale is a 1985 AmGen M923A1 5 Ton 6x6 truck that has a title and is street legal. I had MO plates on it. Truck had a complete overhaul in 2011by the Army, not used by active troops then sent to the1035th ANG unit here in Missouri where they sold it. Only 33450 miles and 200 since purchased. Total hours on truck 69:40 since overhaul. Bed looks short but is 14" long and has 10,000lbs bed weight. Was bought to haul trees on my property. Has less than 300 miles on since overhaul. Fuel pump was rebuilt last summer. All 10 tires, including spare, were new at overhaul. It has the NHC250 855 250HP Cummins with and Allison 5 speed automatic tranny. I added a bypass filter for the coolant. I also added a Tannis heater for winter starting. Recently had oil and fuel filter change. Fuel gauge transmitter needs replacing. Muffler has rusted at bottom should also be replaced.
