I am selling my 1985 Airstream Excella. I have owned it for 12 years and its my second Airstream. I need to downsize to a smaller camper I can town with my car. Replaced the door lock with a modern one. Just had it detailed last week. Here are the things I know it needs: fix or repair stove broken burners. -There is a soft spot in the floor rear see pictures. -Its small enough you could cut the carpet back put a board over it and put the carpet back down. - I have never used the shower thought it works I am 6"5" and I would have to sit down. Seams in the shower need sealed. - I lost the awning on a drive to TN the center support rod is missing. if you wanted to take a trip to Ohio with it you can pick one up at the factory. -At the water pump the back pressure side nut cracked its plastic and needs replaced. -Batteries need replaced. - I know no reason why it would not pass inspection Otherwise it is a good solid camper and would make a great camper for a couple or small family. This model is not very common I needed the walk around Full bed ( I think I say Queen in the video but it is full) because of my height and it took me a while to find one. Most you see have the two twin beds. This camper uses a 30 amp hookup so you can go to just about any state parks. (they are very lenient with the 30 ft rule, I have never been turned away) I work at Beckley"s Camping Center so I am familiar with how these work. This is my personal camper.
