Vehicle description
Less than 48,000 miles on the chassis! Based on a Chevy chassis and equipped with a 454 CI, 7.0 Litre V-8! This engine alone is worth more than the asking price! You could pull the engine and install it in your muscle car! The on-board Oehmig Generator has less than 800 hours on it! All systems work, to the best of my knowledge. It"s no secret that with this low mileage, this RV has done a lot of down-time over the years. This makes it a great candidate for either restoration or customization.
Full water and sewage systems. Toilet, Shower, and Sink in the Bath and a Double sink in kitchen. Grey water, fresh water and sewage tanks are all good to the best of my knowledge. Propane stove/oven, Furnace, Hot water and Refrigerator. Propane tank is in good condition. Microwave and stove/oven combo. Roof mounted A/C unit. Drop down bed in front is almost a Queen, I believe. It"s at least a double. Two fold-down bunks in the couch and the table areas sleep two each, snuggled-in, or one adult comfortably. Two bunks in back by the bathroom sleep one each. Plenty of storage both inside with kitchen cabinets, closets, and out in the luggage areas.
I originally acquired this RV to restore it, but some life-changing events have prohibited both the time and the disposable funds required to do the project.
In the interest of full disclosure, this RV needs to be serviced. It has been sitting idle for a lot of it"s life and will need some TLC to make sure everything is in good order (hence the low asking price). It will need a new rubber roof membrane and a small amount of new plywood repair around the A/C unit (I sourced materials locally to cost less than 600.00). This project is easily done and anyone with basic skills can replace this roof inexpensively. Many videos on YouTube explain how.
There is some easy, general replacement needed of some of the rubber items like door seals and window gaskets needed (super easy to do). The engine runs beautifully, but is in a non-start condition right now. All it needs is a battery, and possibly a battery disconnect solenoid (cost= about 120 bucks). Included is a brand new, in the box, never used starter for the engine- but in my experience the old one still works fine. Just consider it a free gift. Just-in case.
Honestly- This RV needs a little love, but it will be a really fun and rewarding project for someone who is interested in creating his/her own personal space with which to take fishing trips, hunting weekends, or for taking your family vacations in, all on a SMALL BUDGET. Everything is there, just build what you want around it! For much less than it would cost for a newer RV with similarly low mileage you could have a personalized living space- Or it can be restored to original condition easily if you want. Everything is there, to my knowledge, and is in usable condition. No warranty implied or expressed.
