Vehicle description

Hi, and thanks for looking or bidding on our auction. I have a 1984 Ford F7000 dump truck up for auction. "Before You Bid" "Please Turn Up Your Volume And Watch The Entire YouTube Video I Made Of The Truck, Plus Read This Entire Description" I have tried to be completely upfront with the condition of this truck between the video and the Description. It has been sitting in, indoor storage for about 8 years. The motor runs great, and the truck ran and worked fine when I parked it. In fact, I had just had it in the Company Wrench Garage in Lancaster Ohio for routine service before it went into storage. While it sat there in storage. It had a small Hydraulic leak. So eventually a lot leaked out. So it will need Hydraulic fluid before the dump will work normal. As you will see in the video. The dump does work. It just doesn"t have enough hydraulic fluid in the tank to lift the bucket all the way right now. Also for some reason, the clutch does not want to work when I push on it right now. I"m not sure why. I’m not sure if the clutch is dependent on the Hydraulic fluid or not, but it worked fine when I parked it there. So hopefully its a simple solution. It might be that the clutch cable needs some WD40 sprayed on it from sitting so long. If you can get it to go into gear, it drives fine. It has a Diesel engine that runs great. I was told it was a great engine, and a Detroit. I"m not for sure if its a Detroit, but you might know for sure if its a Detroit from the video. I did start the truck up every so often. It has Hydraulic brake fluid brakes. Not air brakes. They do work. The tires are in good shape. I think they were pretty new when I got it. The truck does have rust, but the frame of the truck seems to be good shape with just surface rust in places. The area that holds the two batteries on the left side of the truck is the most rusted area on the truck and is very rusted. It will probably need welded at some point. I do not think this truck was used as a salt truck. A few places on the bottom of the bucket in the channel Iron supports on the bucket are rusted through, mainly on the right side, but not so much that it wont support the bucket. I think the floor of the bucket is OK. I hauled a huge load of gravel in it just before I park it. The fiberglass around the right side hinge for the fold down hood is broke, but attached. So the right side of the hood has to be supported when opening and closing the hood. It has controls levers in it next to the dump control lever for a snow plow. If you know dump trucks. I’m sure you will have it in tip top shape. I don’t know much about them. I used it one time, and put it in storage. I tend to collect things like that. Let me know if you would like to come take a look at it. The truck is being stored in Malta, Ohio. I can arrange to meet you any day after Thanksgiving. The Gross Vehicle Weight of the truck is 27500. So its pretty heavy duty. It would also make a great Farm truck. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions about the truck. If you win this auction, and you don"t like the truck after you come out and see it. You do not have to purchase the truck. I just ask that you at least show up to see the truck, and please don"t bid unless you have the funds and plan on following through with the purchase. It really sucks when someone wins my auction and then doesn"t pay. You can pay either with cash, or with a credit card through Pay Pal after you come see the truck. After you pay for the truck. You can have as long as you need to get the truck meaning, I will have the storage unit for several more months. I do have the truck for sale locally. So I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells locally, however I probably will not end it. Thanks again. . . Jim. Please Watch This Video. Copy and paste the following web link.
