Vehicle description
1984 Delta 4 Horse trailer. 6"6" tall, 6ft wide. 24ft on the floor (including the dressing room), 32 ft total length to the hitch. We bought this trailer a couple of years ago with plans to fix it up and I just don"t have the time. The trailer is in good shape for its age and only has a few places that are rusted through (which are cosmetic and do not affect the structure/frame of the trailer). Just needs a good paint job and the roof resealed in the horse area around the roof vents. Dressing room does not leak as far as we can tell. All windows are intact / no broken glass. NO TITLE on this trailer but I will do a bill of sale if you need one.
Last year we installed new electric brakes on all 4 axels(7k axels), repacked the bearings, and had new 235/80/16 14ply tires mounted (new spare as well). The tires alone cost $1000. We have less than 500 miles on them, the spare has 0 miles on it. The last time I hauled it all exterior lights worked except one running light.
Floor in the dressing room was replaced last year. I don"t know if the a/c works as it is missing the end of the plug on the cord. The floor in the horse area is in good condition.
We removed all of the straight load dividers and welded rings to the top of the frame to tie horses slant load style. You can haul 4 - 5 this way. All the original dividers are here if you want them. Also included are some extra interior/exterior lights that I didn"t have time to install and one extra tail light.
All told I have well over $3500 tied up in this trailer. It"s a good, solid trailer that just needs a little TLC. Pick up is in Henning TN.
