Here we have a classic 1984 Airstream. Sealed and solid! No leaks. Completely dry inside! Equipped with a 454/400 trans. Runs drives and stops. This vehicle is pretty much as it came in 1984 except for someone has added carpet.
History: This Airstream was a acquired from an older couple who bought it to enjoy in their retirement years. From what the wife relayed to me is that her husband had drove it to Florida and became ill and was unable to drive back to NC. He later passed. The motor home has been housed here in Florida unused for the past 5 years. I have taken it and slowly returned it to running condition.
Present:
A real time capsule. It still has the original Kohler generator as well as propane stove, refrigerator and heater. I have tested the appliances. The stove still works except for one burner. The water runs in the faucets. The interior lights all work while plugged into electric. I assume that one would prefer to update some of these appliances because of their antiquity and inefficiency. The 454 runs good. I have driven it locally and able to shift through all gears.
Shipping: Buyer is ultimately responsible for shipping, however I do have a contact that allows me to at least discuss shipping depending on the distance. I do believe that it can be driven away. But it also has been sitting for sometime and I know the unexpected failures that can arise with a vehicle that has sat for a while.
