1983 GMC 70 series rollback. Remanufactured 8.2 liter Detroit diesel engine. 5 speed transmission 2 speed rear 22 ft steel century rollback body Bed controls on both sides Tool boxes This truck was owned by an equipment rental business up until a few years ago when I bought it. I can let this truck sit for 2 or 3 months in my garage and it still starts immediately and doesn"t fill the building with smoke. I bought it to get a mini excavator that I bought home and I haven"t used it enough to justify keeping it. The lights, wipers, heat, and guages all work with the exception of the fuel gauge. That worked when I got it, but doesn"t now. I just keep it full. It has a rust hole the size of a quarter or fifty cent coin in the center of the drivers floor. The passenger side fuel tank is not in use. I don"t know why, it was like that when I bought it. The parking brake needs to be adjusted, I wouldn"t trust it on a hill but it works.
