| “A rock solid, good running AM general 6x6 truck. Tires have plenty of tread, all lights, turn signals and gauges work, has spin on oil filter conversion, new fuel filter, oil cooler and alternator belts. Comes with a spare tire as well. Automatic and anyone can drive it. Air brakes work well, air dryer cycles properly. Front axle locks and unlocks like it should. The only thing wrong is the ABS light comes on. Sometimes it will shut off if you drive it long enough. The best thing about the truck is...IT HAS A TITLE. You can legally title it for street use.” |

Up for auction is a decent M923 with NHC 250 cummins diesel and allison automatic transmission. I"ve had this truck for several years but I just don"t have much time for it anymore so I"ve decided to let someone else play with it for awhile. I drove it home 150 miles with no issues and its been a good truck, always starts right up, runs good and drives good. I"ve replaced the old canister type oil filter with a spin on conversion and it makes oil changes a breeze. I"ve replaced the fuel filter this year and serviced the truck with fresh 15w 40 oil so it"s ready for it"s new owner. The oil cooler has been replaced and I"ve got new alternator belts as well. The only thing I haven"t replaced is the air filter. The tires are amazing with a lot of tread left on them. I even have a spare tire that goes with it as well. There is no rot out or rust on the body or bed and the cab comes with a rubber floor mat. From what I can tell it was overhauled in 03 and sat at the Lincoln NE National Guard till it was bought on Govt. Liquidation. The miles since overhaul was only about 1,500 so it"s practically a "new" truck. The seats are perfect with just some minor sun fade on them. The air brakes work well and the air dryer cycles like it should however I haven"t replaced the dryer cartridge. The ABS light is on and will sometimes shut off if the truck is driven awhile, It"s probably a wheel sensor. The axles are in good shape with no leaks. The trans shifts good and takes 10 weight oil. All the lights and turn signals work as well as the gauges. I tried to repaint the black camo on the passengers side hood but it didn"t turn out well so I quit, I"ll let the new owner decide what they want to do. I have a title for it which means that you can title it in your state and drive it on the road or keep it off road, whichever you choose.
