Vehicle description

1983 Airstream 310 Turbo Diesel Class A. Airstream didn"t make very many of these larger coaches, this model being even more rare with its turbo diesel engine. And after 30+ years they"re getting much harder to come by, with only so many remaining in the United States.
At 31" bumper to bumper the exterior is in great shape with no body damage, only a couple of small dings on the aluminum. The interior is also very good. No tears on any of the seating and the wood is in great shape. No leaks, no dry rot anywhere. It features the original appliances including air conditioning (2 units) and a generator, as well as the addition of a solar panel. There"s a pullout sofa, dinette, kitchen sink, a bathroom with a separate shower, plenty of interior storage as well as two bunks in the back. The two bunks and sofa all fold out for plenty of room to sleep. The awning is in great condition with no rips or holes in it.
The engine is an Isuzu turbo diesel with 125k miles, these engines typically last well over half a million miles and the transmission has given me no problems. And yes that is correct, this is a turbo diesel 1983 Airstream which, as I stated earlier, is extremely rare. This is as much of a collectors piece as it is a fully functioning RV.
It"s been in the family for some time now and we"ve gotten a lot of joy out of it, we don"t do much traveling anymore so I"d like to see it with someone who gets lots of use out of it, especially with so much life still left in it. If you have any additional questions feel free to contact me anytime and thanks for looking.
Please note that the Airstream is located in Riverside California and the buyer will assume responsibility for shipping/picking up. Payment must be made within 3 days of winning bid.
