Vehicle description
I have a 1982 28Ft. Terry Taurus Travel Trailer that sleeps 8, which includes bunk beds. I am the 2nd owner. I bought the trailer a year ago from the estate of the original owner. It appeared to have sitting for some time without being used due to original owner"s health. It had a seam leak on the right front corner of the trailer that caused some water damage in the front corner inside, a window seal leak from the right side window by door, and another small window seal leak on left side by dinette table. Due to the front corner seam leak, the siding came loose when I left the home of where I bought it. They didn"t tell me of any of the leaks so I immediately took it to a RV Repair company in Corona and had them completely re-sealed the entire roof, repaired the front right corner seal, replaced all the roof vents, repaired a plumbing leak in the bathroom that I also didn"t know it had until I hooked it up to a camp site. I had all the windows re-sealed too and now there are NO leaks in the roof, corner seals, or the windows. Water and wind tight now. It looks like the trailer was hardly used. I have all the original paperwork for the trailer which includes all receipts from the original owner, and all the original owner"s manuals for all the appliances. I lived in it for about 6 months out in the desert by Temecula and everything worked! The AC and Heater worked great too. Now I no longer need it and need to sell it. Everything works, except the interior crank for the antenna, and for some reason, the awning when pulled out, will not stay out, maybe because I don"t know how to use it. It has no tears. I replaced ALL exterior running lights and both tail lights. I think all you need to do is replace some of the damaged wood paneling. Carpet is original too and probably should be replaced. Other than that, it is a really nice trailer. They don"t make today"s trailers with the same quality as this one. Clean title, clean trailer. Have pink slip in hand. I have it parked at an RV storage in Corona.
