FRONT I purchased our 1985 MCI 9 from a tour company in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1995 and spent the next 3 years on the conversion. The front has a lounge area with couch conversion bed, kitchen with a drop down table, sink, small electric refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, propane stove, marble and carpet floor, stain glass lighting, radio, cabinets with oak and walnut doors with stain glass inlays. There are 5 slider windows with balance of old window openings skinned over. MIDDLE The center of the bus has a walk thru bath with a private ceramic toilet, ceramic sink, 12 v outlet and exhaust fan on the driver side and a 32” stand up shower on passenger side. It has doors on lounge side and on bedroom side closing off the bathroom. REAR The rear has a double bed with stain glass lighting, 2 slider windows, ceramic sink, 12 v outlet and 3 closets with 100 gallon fresh water holding tank under bed. BASEMENT The driver side 3 basement compartments has propane tank, electrical panel (30 & 50A service) as well as 40’ heavy extension cord, 12v propane furnace, (2) 5000 BTU A/C units, 40 gal grey and black water holding tans as well as fresh water hook up. The passenger side 4 compartments has (2) 6V large starting batteries, 5000 watt inverter with room for (4) inverter batteries, 4500 watt propane generator, storage, tankless propane water heater and storage. Buss A/C unit is still operates. EXTERIOR The exterior is brown in color with almond color roof with airbrushed murals on all 4 sides and red neon perimeter lighting. The tires are 75% with Alcoa aluminum rims including single tags. The engine is a Detroit 8V71 NO SMOKE with 20,000 MILES since last major rebuild. It has a 5 speed transmission. The clutch was rebuilt when engine was. Unit weighs approx 35,000# with all upper body stainless or aluminum. Brakes were also replaced at engine rebuild. Frame and undercarriage is steel
