Car was fast with no problems. * * The new main photo was taken last night as we prepare to go to Mid-Ohio SVRA event * * If you would like to see the car before buying, we are running it at Mid-Ohio with SVRA next weekend June 22/24. If someone buys the GT1 Camaro before this weekend, of course we will not race it. * 1982 GT1 Camaro. All the fun of a $50,000.00 race car for less then half the money. GT-1 race car has been completely gone through from the ground up. The engine has a new bottom end. Competition valve job done on Pontiac 23-degree heads at McGunegill Racing Engines in Muncie Indiana. This car has an extensive race history with log books and documentation of races from Daytona to Mid-Ohio. The car was built by Dillion Race Cars and initially raced in the Kelly girl series converted to a GT-1 and raced 80s and 90s. Today raced in vintage racing with SVRA, HSR and more. N ew Quartermaster bellhousing, new two discs clutch, new starter and flywheel. There are two sets of Chrome wheels that are wide 5 with Hoosier tires. One set of scuffs the other set with sticker tires. There are also 6 Real aluminum Racing Wheels 13x16. Howe road racing front clip with all new front suspension. New Sweet power steering rack and pinion. Coil-over spring set-up. Fire bottle system. Body is fiberglass and is supported by Motorsports Composits. Quick change rear end with limited slip differential Rear suspension 3 link with Pan-hard rods on center swivel Hightower Racing 4 speed transmission. From Johnny Hightower in N.C.
